Advanced Candle Making Course 1: Intro to Luminaries
This Class is great for Individuals who:
- Have Taken Our Beginner’s and intermediate Candle Classes
- Have experience with candle making and understands the fundamentals
- Are comfortable and able to multitask using both hands
- Would love to learn and expand candle skills and knowledge
In Course 1: Intro to Luminaries, Our Candle students will make “Crystal Hurricane Candles” (also known as luminaries).
Luminaries or Hurricane Candles are large candle holders made of a thick, hard, glass-like type of wax. Luminaries are mostly used for votive and tea light candles. Luminaries (Hurricane candles) are most known for their soft glow and elegant versatility in any decor. Students will learn to formulate “hurricane wax” from scratch and gain an in depth understanding of the science behind hurricane Candles. Students will enjoy a hands-on instruction and gain the confidence to be able to make Wax an art form by combining Science and creativity.
Each Student will also receive a comprehensive information booklet to take home covering what we learn.
